Participating in CHEWS
If you take part in this study, you will be joining a cohort, meaning a group of other participants with something in common (in this case, all employees at large organizations in Nova Scotia). From the date you join the study (enrolment) you will be involved for a period of 24 months.
Throughout these 24 months, you will have a series of periodic assessments (questionnaires, diet recalls, and sometimes saving your receipts) every 6 months. A small subgroup of participants will be selected to participate in interviews near the beginning and the end of the study. During the study, and at the end of 24 months, you may be invited to participate in further related research if you are interested.
Your participation is totally optional & you can withdraw your participation at any point!
